Best known his role as Edward Cullen in the film adaptations of the Twilight novels Robert Pattinson is reported to have had a narrow escape during the shooting of his upcoming drama flick Water for Elephants.
Playing the role of Jacob Jankowski a circus worker in Water for Elephants, the Twilight star who has to wok with a different animal everyday was bitten in the arm by a lion that had no teeth. Apparently sources said it was the animal’s gesture for being friendly. Water for Elephants is based on a historical novel by Sarah Gruen centers Jacob Jankowski and his experiences in a traveling circus during the time of the Great Depression.
Put in charge of caring for a group of exotic animals Jacob does the impossible of training Rosie an animal who seemed impossible to train. He also meets Marlena (Reese Witherspoon) married horseback rider whom he falls in love with.Water for Elephants is said to be an epic love story that is enhanced by wonderful sense of time and place where their strong feeling of love is more than enough to overcome the odds.
This is Robert Pattinson’s only movie so far which is announced to be released in 2011 within the USA other than Twilight’s Breaking Dawn Part I.

Yesterday there was news that Yo-Landi , a member of the South African dance-rap crew “Die Antwoord” is the potential candidate to play Lisbeth Salander in the big-screen adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo which would be directed by David Flincher.
Today, it has been said that Twilight babe Kristen Stewart who is known to play the timid, soft-spoken and girlie characters is looking for something different and diverse like action in her acting career and hence she could be playing the hacker Lisbeth Salander in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
But the sad news is that Miss Stewart could be having scheduling conflicts as she is booked for the next six months. However Kristen Stewart seems to be very much in love with the character and although no meeting has been officially arranged with director David Flincher she hopes the slots could be sorted out.
Well, with Scarlett Johansson, Ellen Page, Carey Mulligan and Yo-Landi Vi$$er eyeing for the same role Kristen has some serious competition to watch out for. For example, Edward and Bella must marry before consummating their love. Well, considering the priority given for sexuality in vampire movies, if Twilight had merely depicted the two to be virgins for life, I’m sure the it wouldn’t have attracted the audience as much as in the recent past. What is being said is that the whole series is a balanced one; not too much not too little of everything.
The 24-year old Rob Pattinson whose biggest break in his acting career has been “Twilight”, being very modest to us, reveals that because auditions can be nerve-wracking, he stole some Valium from a friend to calm his nerves before he auditioned for the first “Twilight” movie. Though they were stay separately in comic-con night they were together at Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego. They selected 11th floor to celebrate their love and über-hip Hard Rock Hotel were shone by them .but need to tell that no one seen them as they have entered in a secret way to the hotel. How smart they were?
Though no one seen them at hard rock hotel some sources says that they were in same hotel in that time. But needless to say they have never appeared in common areas in a hotel as they have to encounter with fans questions. Remember me? Was rob’s forthcoming movie and it finished filming and now it is the time for post production. Though he decided to stay San Diego in Thursday night he flew to L.A with Kristen.
