Warner Bros has released its first Sucker Punch movie photo and it portrays as Emily Browning Baby Doll Vanessa Hudgens as Blondie Abbie Cornish as Sweetpea, Jena Malone as Rocket and Jamie Chung as Amber as the five inmates along with Scott Glenn. According to the picture the girls seem to be lead by Emily Browning for some serious task.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Sucker Punch follows a Baby Doll who badly wants to escape the torture caused by her stepfather and lobotomy. Being in a mental institution she imagines alternative reality constantly.
She has a period of 5 days only and 5 objects to steal before she could make her great escape and with that in mind she enters the hyper-real world of her imagination. There she finds inmates from the institution who would assist her and mostly importantly to her the lessons learned virtually can be utilized perfectly for a neat escape.

Vanessa Hudgens gets Beastly, Sucker Punched
Vanessa Hudgens is moving beyond “High School Musical” with several new roles. And they sound like quite a diversion from HSM!
She’s signed for the teen romance “Beastly,” a film based on an Alex Flinn novel about a vain New York teen who’s made to look ugly in order to find true love. Sort of a reverse version of “Penelope.” Daniel Barnz has signed to direct.
Hudgens was also recently cast in an all-girl action flick “Sucker Punch,” co-written and directed by Zack Snyder (“300” and “Watchmen”). Kind of a different role for her, but you know, good for her.
“Sucker Punch” is set in the 1950s and stars Emily Browning as a young woman who undergoes a lobotomy and is institutionalized by her evil stepfather. She then slips into her own fantasy world and must steal objects in order to escape. It also stars Abbie Cornish, Jena Stone and Jamie Chung.
And this summer, Hudgens will star in the teen musical comedy “Bandslam.” She stars as a weird rocker chick who sings her heart out on screen. But it still doesn’t sound like HSM.
MTV caught up with her on the Austin, Texas set last year, and she said, “And they are like, ‘We are going to have two weeks of music rehearsals,’ and I was like, ‘What?’ But it was really cool. It’s definitely not the kind of music I do normally.”
