Directed by Patrick Lussier, Drive Angry is an action thriller starring Nicolas Cage, Amber Heard, Billy Burke and William Fichtner in lead roles. Drive Angry follows a father Milton (Nicolas Cage) on a mission to stop a cult which was responsible for the killing of his daughter from killing his grand daughter too. The cult leader is Jonah King (Billy Burke) a wicked and self centered character who believed that scarification the baby beneath a full moon needs to be performed to unleash hell on earth.
On board with this tedious task Milton is thoroughly supported by a young waitress called Piper (Amber Heard). However, Milton faces more issues when the cops and the mysterious killer “The Accountant” (William Fichtner) who has been sent by the Devil to retrieve Milton are after him.
Nicolas Cage who started his acting career with Valley Girl (1983) went down to make his first Oscar Award win in 1995’s Leaving Las Vegas. Anyway what is news about him is that is seems to have a thing for the paranormal world since he has been playing quite a lot of supernatural characters lately in Ghost Rider, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, City of Angels etc and having said that Drive Angry also seems to be in this category.
