The annually held awards ceremony presented by the Canadian music video channel MuchMusic, “MuchMusic Video Awards” for the sole purpose of honoring the year’s best music videos was held at the MuchMusic World Headquarters in Toronto, Canada on Sunday night, 20th June 2010.

And this year’s co-host was none other than the “Hannnah Montana” babe Miley Cyrus. Dressed in a black glamorous outfit, Miley was up to take the stage for her duties of co-hosting and performing. Talking about the nominations for that night, the artists with the most nominations were Drake with seven nominations (Cinematographer of the Year, MuchVIBE Hiphop Video of the Year, International Video of the Year by a Canadian, UR Fave: Canadian Video) and Hedley with six (Video of the Year, Post Production of the Year, Cinematographer of the Year, Director of the Year, Pop Video of the Year).

But, however, the album’s first single and the title track, “Can’t Be Tamed” which was released for sale on 18th May 2010 entered the Billboard Hot 100 at number eight and also won her a Platinum Record.

With the successes in her music career, it seems that she isn’t fairing that well with her acting career considering the fact that Miley received poor reviews for The Last Song (2010), her recent film project, in accordance to her emotional expressiveness, although the movie was commercially successful. Taking all these in to consideration, Miley has announced “Can’t Be Tamed” to be her last album since she wants to focus on her acting.

The show is set to take place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on the 22nd June. Miley along with Taylor Swift and country stars like Carrie Underwood, Brooks & Dunn, LeAnn Rimes, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride and many more are hoping to accompany her for this purpose.

The event will be hosted by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, with funds helping Nashville recover from the recent devastating floods.Miley Cyrus, though still a teen, is mature and ever-willing to lend a helping hand in any way she can. She believes that having only one life at hand, life should be utilized worthily especially by giving a hand to the unfortunate and being happy and content about it.

She further states that she knows, for a fact, what a lot of physical damage a flood could cause and the effect it could have on victims’ life and helping them in any possible way is all what is left for us to do. According to that she was so panic about her new album. She just realized that her album comes out in 4 days and so excited about it. Also she has many times thought give up music because of frustration of music field. It seems she had to face load of obstacles in her music journey. She said it’s so hard to see people that don’t genuinely love the ART of music release songs that don’t mean anything and people listen to them. Her heart also aches for the people out there with so much talent and are selling out and just producing the music they are told to. She is so grateful for the success ‘Party in the USA’ has had but that is not who she is. She needed a song that would be good inspiration for the clothing line and no doubt it is a great summer party song!

But there is so much more to her than what has been heard. There is a song on the new EP called ‘Obsessed’ and ‘when I look at you’ and THAT is the type of music she is proud of! There is also a song on there called Talk is cheap and Kicking and screaming that she is so excited for you all to hear.

She is so stoked about this album coming out because it is a good transition into her next record. The one that will be ALL her. The one that will inspire and hopefully change lives. She wants to be seen as more than this Disney artist.

This Hannah Montana actress is as busy with this all works as she continues her Today show concert series. It will be feel much better for miley as the last song movie has just finished its shooting.
