Lyndsy Fonseca’s star is rising – FAST!

Lyndsy Fonseca has scored a lot of roles in the past few years – Dylan Mayfair on “Desperate Housewives,” Donna on “Big Love,” and the daughter on “How I Met Your Mother,” to name a few.

Her star is definitely rising, because she just completed “Kick-Ass” with Nicolas Cage and booked a part in “Hot Tub Time Machine.” It’s a comedy in which she plays Jenny, a girlfriend who slipped away from John Cusack’s character in 1987. Only he revisits her when he and some friends travel back in time via their Jacuzzi. Yes, their Jacuzzi!

It’s scheduled for a February 2010 release, and also stars Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson and Lizzy Caplan.

Fonseca also stars alongside Drake Bell in the CBS comedy pilot “The Fish Tank.”

Whew … and I thought MY life was busy!
