Scream 4 is an upcoming horror film and fourth installment in the Scream series which would be directed by Wes Craven (Scream (1996, 1997, 2000) off the script of Kevin Williamson who reunite for this movie.

The series which was initially planned to be a trilogy has taken it step to production 10 after its last release of the series and revolves around a ghost-face killer and his future victims. Sidney Prescott one of Hollywood’s leading entertainment journalists has appeared in Scream 2 and Scream 3 and now looks like she is up for more.

Reprising her famed role as a reporter in Scream 4 she is said to be very excited about its production and release. In related news, Lake Bell who was in negotiations to join the franchise while offers were out to Twilight actress Ashley Greene, Heroes star Hayden Panettiere and Rory Culkin for lead starring roles it looks like only Hayden Panettiere and Rory Culkin made it to the final cast of Scream 4.

The Heroes hottie Hayden Panettiere and well-built Ukrainian boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko (heavyweight boxer) were spotted walking out together after having their lunch peacefully at the Le Pain Quotidien in West Hollywood on Monday 21st June 2010.

Hayden Panettiere who began her acting career as a child model and soap opera actress, built her career steadily with featuring her voice in movies like Bug’s Life (1998) and Dinosaur (2000), played the long lost daughter of Ally McBeal (1997-2002) and also played in teen features like Ice Princess (2005).

However, Panettiere’s career break through came with playing a high school cheerleader with a superpower in Heroes (2006). Miss Panettiere’s next development is hoped to be Wes Craven’s Scream 4 and it seem that the cast list is going to increase with Anthony Anderson and Marielle Jaffe join the crew along with existing cast, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Neve Campbell and Emma Roberts.

Chase Crawford in for Footloose

Chace Crawford just got one degree closer to Kevin Bacon. The “Gossip Girl” star is set to take the lead in Paramount’s “Footloose” revamp.

For a while there, it looked like Zac Efron would be putting his dancing shoes (back) on for the role, but now it’s official. Crawford is in. They actually kind of look a little bit alike, don’t they? I’m sure Crawford will do a fine job.

Hayden Panettiere is rumored to star in the movie, as well. Kenny Ortega, who helmed the “High School Musical” movies, will direct and produce “Footloose,” scheduled for a 2010 release.

Think Crawford will do a good job? I’ve never actually seen him dance, but he must have some pretty awesome skills to be cast in “Footloose.” Anyone know if he’s a hoofer?

Stars come out for L.A. Premiere of Star Trek

The stars came out in full force for the Los Angeles premiere of “Star Trek,” held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on April 30, 2009.
