After Harry Potter Daniel Radcliffe joins The Woman in Black
The Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is after a wrapping up the last and final sequel of the Harry Potter series Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows: Part II which is yet to screen.
After being attached to the Harry Potter series since 2001 it looks as though Daniel Radcliffe is looking for more options out and it seems that he has found one already. According to sources he will play a young lawyer in the upcoming film adaptation of the bestselling Susan Hill novel The Woman in Black. Well, one thing is for sure he doesn’t seem to be able to let go of the books/novels as yet.
Directed by James Watkins The Woman in Black follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe) who travels to a remote village to sort out recently deceased client’s papers and in the meantime, he discovers deep secrets and also spots a mysterious woman dressed only in black
In related news it is said that Daniel Radcliffe will portray a deceased photojournalist, Dan Eldon in an upcoming biopic entitled The Journey is the Destination. Furthermore the drama All Quiet on the Western Front (2012) is also an upcoming film project for the young star.
Daniel Radcliffe said good bye to Harry Potter
Most know him as the young wizard, of J.K. Rowling’s movie series, “Harry Potter”. This character brought Daniel Radcliffe a great deal of fame, recognition and also made him be considered as the award-winning highest-paid actor of his generation.
Ever since he first joined the crew of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” (2001), he has been with them throughout the eight big installments, along with co-stars Rupert Grint, Emma Watson etc, to name a few.Filming the final installment, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”, a few days back, Daniel Radcliffe seems to have supposedly closed this chapter of his life on the set. According to Daniel, it was a very emotional moment when the whole crew was full of tears after having worked as one team for a really long period.
Starting from 2001 ending 2010 is, indeed a really long period!
As far as the media is concerned there hasn’t been any recent news on what Daniel’s future plans are, so let’s keep our fingers crossed.
