During the filming of the hit musical sequel High School Musical 4: East Meets West in Toronto, Canada Ashley Tisdale, best known as Sharpay Evans and the only member of the cast to stay throughout its series, was spotted in a hot pink dress talking to a human statue during a scene for “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventures”.
According to sources, despite renowned male and female actors backing off from High School Musical 4, like Zac Efron, Vanessa Anne Hudgens etc, new faces have been added to the cast. They include, Austin Butler who will play confident film student Peyton Leverett, Bradley Steven Perry who will play Sharpay’s nemesis Roger Elliston III, Cameron Goodman, Alec Mapa, and Jack Plotnick
The movie would be directed by Jeffrey Hornaday off the script of Peter Barsocchini. It seems that Ashley Tisdale has enough and more exposure to single-handedly bring this latest sequel to shore.
The Actress/Singer/Dancer Ashley coming from a family of unique TV personalities, she has been an entertainer since she was three years old. Being a popular player on the Disney Channel’s buddy comedy “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” (2005-08) she got many onscreen credits for guest spots on “7th Heaven” (1996-2006) and “Smart Guy” (1997-99), “Malcolm in the Middle” (2000-06) etc, but what brought her this amount of popularity and fame was movie series, High School musical.

Nickelodeon’s 22nd annual Kids’ Choice Awards was on last night, and host Dwayne Johnson made quite the entrance, sailing in on a zip line and landing smack dab center stage, a.k.a. the Slime Pyramid. Whoever thought up the whole slime theme for these awards knew what they were doing!

Favorite TV Show: Nick’s “iCarly,” starring Miranda Cosgrove.
Favorite Animated Voice: Jack Black, for voicing the title role in Dreamworks’ “Kung Fu Panda.” He arrived onstage in a motorcycle sidecar, saying “Skadoosh! I am touched, I am moved, I am pumped, and I am jazzed. I promise you will try my hardest to make ‘Kung Fu Panda 2? even more awesome than that first one.”

Favorite Actress: Vanessa Hudgens, who thanked her little sister Stella “for asking all her friends at school to vote.”
