Andy Tennant Stepping into direct Adaline movie
The Killers star Katherine Heigl is in the process of filming One for the Money but would it matter if another opportunity knocks her door? Certainly Well this opportunity comes in the form of Adaline (previously known as The Age of Adaline) to which the man with the director’s hat is finally attached and he is none other than The Bounty Hunter director Andy Tennant.
Written by J Mills Goodloe and Sal Pascowitz and Allison Burnett, Adaline follows a young who meets with a mysterious accident that makes her aging stop permanently. While some may consider it a gift she finds it a curse to be immortal.
She soon meets a man who will risk everything for her to regain her immortality and hence greatly looks forward to being a normal human being once again. Director Andy Tennant has been highly involved in romantic comedies in his career with movies like The Bounty Hunter, Sweet Home Alabama, Ever After, Fools Rush In etc, but with Adaline he is able to shift to a different genre and exhibit more of his directors’ skills.
