Despicable Me Movie New Poster of Gru

A new poster for the upcoming computer animated comedy, “Despicable Me” has now been released. The poster shows the main character, Gru and his three orphaned girls being hoisted by his fellow minions towards the one thing he wanted to steal badly, THE MOON. Starring Steve Carell, Jason Segel, Kristen Wiig, Will Arnett, Danny McBride, Russell Brand, Jemaine Clement, Jack McBrayer, Julie Andrews, Miranda Cosgrove and Mindy Kaling, Despicable me is directed by Chris Renaud and Pierre Coffin and planned for release worldwide on the 9th of July 2010.

Gru (voiced by Steve Carell) is the world’s super villain, equipped with his arsenal of shrink rays, freeze rays, and battle-ready vehicles for land and air, whose objective is stealing the moon with the help of his army of minions. His focus, however, changes when three small problems enter his life, in the form of three orphaned girls named Margo, Edith and Agnes.

Initially, frustrated and stressed out, Gru eventually becomes caring and protective of the girls. And to everybody’s amazement, the three see something that nobody has ever seen in Gru. The potential of becoming a good father!
