The Sorcerer’s Apprentice New trailer

The second trailer of the action-adventure fantasy movie, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, has been released by Walt Disney Pictures. The trailer shows the extent to which the power of magic can be utilized. It also shows some quality graphics and animations involved. This fantasy movie seems to be full of action and adventure and comedy too and hence would be compelling to watch. .

Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina), an evil wizard  along with an illusionist (Tony Kebbell) who, together, plan to utilize New York City for their own evil purposes. And the only man capable of defending the city from his arch-nemesis is Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) who is a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan. But he knows for a fact that he cannot do it all by himself.

During this time, he meets an average student, Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel) who demonstrates hidden potential for magic, who could be a force for good and a very important sorcerer. Reluctantly and with the additional motivation provided by love interest, Becky (Teresa Plamer) Dave teams up with Balthazar who gives him a crash course on the art and science of magic, to fight the dark forces.

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice stars Nicolas Cage, Monica Bellucci, Jay Baruchel, Alfred Molina, Teresa Palmer and Toby Kebbell, is directed by Jon Turteltaub and is planned for release on 14th July 2010.
