The Disappearance of Alice Creed

The five minute trailer of The Disappearance of Alice Creed has been released and it depicts the movie to be suspenseful right from the beginning where their moves cannot be predicted whatsoever.

Written and directed by J. Blakeson The Disappearance of Alice Creed follows two men named Danny (Martin Compston) and Vic (Eddie Marsan) put their well-planned proceedings in to practice, with the only motive of getting a passport for a better life via kidnapping for a ransom.

And this young woman, Alice Creed (Gemma Arterton), turns out to be the daughter of a rich businessman. Firstly, from the kidnapper’s point of view, the movie depicts them to be very focused, planned and very much in to what they are about to achieve. Well, anybody targeting a better life by crook has to be able to take risks and have the “come what may” attitude.

Secondly, from the victim’s point of view, she is left with only fright and fear and heaps of questions as to why she is here which this movie clearly portrays. Finally, the overall beauty of this movie is how very thrillingly and suspense- fully the audience is kept along with them right till the end.

The Disappearance of Alice Creed will take its release on 6th August 2010.
