Have a glimpse of the brand new The Concert poster that has been released and it portrays joyous Melanie Laurent as Anne-Marie Jacquet / Léa along with Aleksei Guskov as Andrei Simoniovich Filipov hugging each other most probably after a seemingly orchestral victory.
The Concert focuses on the unconditional love, passion and liking some people have towards orchestral music. Once in to it, it turns out to be like a drug that you cannot get out of, so soothing, so relaxing and so very tempting to be with it.Coming from the director of Train of Life (1999) The Concert follows the former renowned conductor of the Bolshoi orchestra, Andrei Simoniovich Filipov.
He may have been fired but his love towards music still remains and hence being a solo violinist he decides to gather together his former musicians and perform at the Châtelet Theater in Paris. Also including the reluctant and nervous Anne-Marie Jacquet a young virtuoso in his team, they set off for the event. They say, conducting an impressive orchestra isn’t easy unless you have the brass to pull it off and The Concert just proves this perception to be true.
The Concert will be in limited release within the US on 16th July 2010.
