When she was young and at about six teen years she have figure out that her mother was having a after with another man. For any girl it was a shocking experience and one day she have fallowed her mom to her secrete lover. They went on to a trailer and Mariana thought it she can cut lose the gas pump it will stop her mom from meeting this guy any more. How ever her plan end results with killing both her mother Gina (Kim Basinger) and Nick Martinez (Joaquim de Almeida) with the explosion. How ever after that though she have been not commited for murder it alones four other children and Nicks son. His name was Santiago (JD Pardo) and he was little interested about the teen girl Mariana.

Both of them are reality adapting to the life challenges they have to face and how ever with disapproval from their families it was a new beginning for their life with another member coming to them.
