The American Trailer

The second The American trailer has been released and it’s available. The trailer depicts this movie to be mysterious with deep-dark secrets lying in it and on its revelation, betrayal, revenge, emotions etc. come forward.

The American is directed by Anton Corbijn (Control (2007), Captain Beefheart – Some Yo Yo Stuff (1993) and follows a professional assassin, Jack (George Clooney). Facing tremendous losses due to his line of work, Jack vows that this would be last assignment and leaves to Italy for this purpose. But to Jack, every location is a trap and every person a potential threat, with his long list of existing enemies.

With his mission delayed, he enjoys confessional conversations with a priest and also falls in to a romantic relationship with an Italian beauty. Meanwhile, he also learns that the woman who hired him may not be all that she seems.

The Academy Golden Globe Award winner for Syriana (2005), Best Supporting Actor and Golden Globe Award Winner for O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000), Best Actor- Comedy or Musical, Clooney, like always, has given us an entertaining piece of work. And with all the names under his belt, it would be an unpleasant surprise to his fans, if it turns out negative.
