Standing Ovation Movie Poster

A new poster of Standing Ovation, the comedy musical, is out in the web for you. The colorful poster shows the two leaders of the music bands challengingly posing upright with their member’s right behind them. Starring Kayla Jackson, Pilar Martin, Alanna Palombo etc, the movie is written and directed by Stewart Raffill and scheduled for limited release on the 16th July 2010.

With a national music video contest coming up, two teams who are determined to win prepare themselves for it and the winner gets a cash prize worth one million dollars. One singing group is called “The Five Ovations” formed by five junior high school friends who have limited funds and resources, but are using their talents, capabilities, passion, courage and proper mindset to the utmost to create a wonderful song and music number that could win them the competition.

On the other hand “The Wiggies”, The arch rivals of “The Five Ovations”, which is formed by five sisters, have one thing in abundance; the funds, but comparatively, less talents. They too are working hard to win the competition, by hook or by crook with tremendous support form their parents. Apart from winning the competition, they also have to focus on deeds to stop their rivals performing.

“The Wiggies” and their parents would do anything; I stress ANYTHING, to be the winners.
