Skippy Dies movie adoption directed by Neil Jordan
Here is the upcoming comedy Skippy Dies an adaptation of the novel by author Paul Murray. Neil Jorndan is the one who is going to direct and write this fabulous movie. And according to London based producers of Number 9 Films Stephen Woolley and Elizabeth Karlsen, Neil Jordan has been confirmed to play the part of the writer and director both. This isn’t the first time the three are teaming up.
Also Number 9 Films producers will also be joined by James Flynn of Littlewave Film Productions to produce. The story sets off in a public school in Ireland where it showcases the unlikely friendship of two roommates Ruprecht a mathematical genius and Skippy.
While Skippy is attracted to a French chick attempting something fatal ends Skippy’s life but his friend Ruprecht from this end is trying to figure out a way to reach to Skippy beyond the grave.
In related news Neil Jorndan’s movies include The Company of Wolves (1984) Mona Lisa (1986) The Crying Game (1992) Michael Collins (1996) and Breakfast on Pluto (2005) while he is also due to film Neil Gaiman’s award winning fantasy novel The Graveyard Book later this year.
