Pride and Glory (2008) – discovering inside of own

Cops aren’t having that much reception by the movies in past even though they are sacrificing their life for others security. So many times in past corruption of police department and any other weaknesses they have mention In many movies. But Pride and Glory (2008) is different from many because it shows inside of the police cops. It is the deep drama about the multi generational family fighting and gambling about their loyalty for the police department and on the other hand supervising suspects from their own having to be protected. One wins one lose situation. Also having many other forces to face with. Because there are undergoing an investigation.

As we all experiences New York it the basic place for this action filled movie. Discovering method by the director clearly shows the skill of his. It is an emotional drama. Started with Chief of Manhattan Detectives Francis Tierney ask his own son Detective Ray Tierney, to lead the investigation. It is the investigation the whole department is keeping eye and talking four cops were killed by the gang. When he was discovering deep and deep in to the case suddenly found his older brother and brother-in-law appeared in between. So he now caught up in two minds. Even he can’t believe it. His first guess was in is the mafia gang. But with out inside help they never get close to them. Never thought it is.

Though it is based on investigations much gang works and firing action is there for the interest. Film was directed by Gavin O Connor previous success in “The Slaughter Rule” (2002) “Miracle” (2004). Staring Edward Norton, Colin Farrell and Shea Whigham
