The first My Sucky Teen Romance movie photo has been released and it shows a furious-looking, bloody-mouthed girl and by the looks teeth that seem razor-sharp, she cannot be anything close to being human. My Sucky Teen Romance follows 17-year-old Kate who on her last weekend in town, spends time with her friends at the yearly held science fiction convention where she meets a recently turned teen-vampire, Paul.
When Paul accidentally bites Kate’s neck, Kate and her friends learn that Paul is a vampires an that he is not the only vampire at the convention. Anyway, with the clock ticking it’s now in the hands of the friends to bring Kate back to the human state.
The specialty of My Sucky Teen Romance lies outside the storyline and in the part of the director, Emily Hagins. And what is it about Emily Hagins? Hagins wrote and directed a zombie flick called Pathogen merely at the age of 12 and became the first teenage girl to in the United States to direct a feature-length film. Furthermore, the ones impressed by the young talent are working on a documentary about Hagins, Zombie Girl: The Movie profiling her production of Pathogen.
In related news, Emily Hagins’ second feature-length film, The Retelling, a supernatural murder-mystery is currently in the post-production phase.
