Monsterpocalypse Movie with Tim Burton by DreamWorks
With DreamWorks acquiring the movie rights to the collectible miniatures board game movie called Monsterpocalypse, it seems that they do not have the finances to bring it to the theatrical level and hence have requested Tim Burton to help him out. However, it looks like Tim Burton would be in to produce the movie, not solely, but along with the game’s creator Matt Wilson.
“Monsterpocalypse” is a game involving giant Godzilla-style monsters creating havoc among the public, wreaking cities and hence struggling to survive. It is said to be published by Privateer Press and the four-issue comic book series by Desperado Publishing.
With the success of Cloverfield, and the announcement of Monsterpocalypse in development, and with DreamWorks is also developing a movie called Robopocalypse, it seems post-apocalyptic scenario which is out in the open is the gaining popularity as of now. Coming back to the main subject, “Do you think Tim Burton is the right person DreamWorks has opted for, for Monsterpocalypse’s production?”
