Universal Studios Hollywood’s attraction is the Studio Tour where a person is led by a tour guide to direct you towards many of its movie attractions. Well after the fire accident two years back, things have come back to normal, but as far as the Larry Kurzweil, President and Chief Operating Officer, Universal Studios Hollywood is concerned, King Kong which is based on the Oscar winning 2005 Universal Pictures film, is one of the main resurrected attractions.
But, what is interesting is, with the up-gradation of the studio for summer 2010, King Kong will be re-imagined and recreated so as to a truly innovative Studio Tour attraction.” Well, a great deal of plans have been made to keep the guests as entertained as possible with digital 3-D and effective digital sound system and lighting systems. Also there would be exciting moments when the guests seem to be caught in between swarming bats, a 25-feet fall dinosaur and King Kong, itself. It would truly be a real life experience.
King Kong which was firstly introduced to the at Universal Studios Hollywood in 1986 is now said to be considered the world’s eight wonder where it first appeared on the screen in the 1933 original classic, “King Kong”. After that, the movie was made twice, which each re-make doing something extra than the previous one. King Kong has earned seven Oscar and three Golden Globe nominations so far with the it’s last release earning over $700 million and becoming the fourth-highest grossing movie in Universal Pictures history.
This is why Universal Studios Hollywood has put in a massive effort to upgrade King Kong and it seems to be worth it, considering the time and money that goes along with it for this purpose. Summer 2010 is the period for enjoyment at its best; with creatures you haven’t even seen your entire life, natural effects you haven’t witnessed and circumstances you have never been in.
