I’m Still Here Movie Poster

I’m Still Here poster has been released by Magnolia Pictures and it portrays Oscar nominee Joaquin Phoenix wearing a pair of shades It wouldn’t say he has got the best of looks on the poster well rather shabbily dressed.  I’m Still Here is going to be Casey Affleck’s directorial debut where it is going to basically focus on the reinvention of Joaquin Phoenix life as an actor turned rapper.

To those of you who don’t know much about him here is a brief introduction of the 35 year old multi talented soul. Coming in to the film industry he initially introduced himself as an actor in Space Camp (1986) however his talents weren’t limited to only acting but also directing music videos and producing movies and television shows.

His Oscar nominating performances include Walk the Line (2005) and Gladiator (2000) and we as fans could consider them as movies which could be remembered a lifetime. His other classical flicks include Two Lovers (2008), Buffalo Soldiers (2001) etc.
Anyway it was Joaquin decision to say a big goodbye to his acting career when he wanted to focus on his potential music career. Well he was in luck there too when his soundtrack album Walk the Line won him a Grammy Award.
