Hawkwood cast Russell Brand

Having mastered his skills as comical figure in the recent movies Arthur and Get Him to the Greek, Russell Brand is confirming is highly indulged in playing the old time hero in Hawkwood where he would play the lead role as gifted swordsman John Hawkwood in his real life adventures of leading various European armies during the Renaissance wars.

There are no plot details given about Hawkwood nor are the details of the director for this movie and the planned release date but minute details about the crew are as follows. Hawkwood is said to be scripted by Jared Stern (Arthur (2011) Toy Story (2010) Bolt (2008)) while the producing will be done by Russell Brand himself along with Peter Chernin and Dylan Clark, and Nicky Weinstock.

Looks like Russell brand will have a busy year ahead! While in the production process of the upcoming comedy flick Arthur alongside Luis Guzmán he would also provide the voice of the Easter Bunny in the Tim Hill’s Hop and soon would be bound to the Despicable Me (still among the top 5 in the U.S Box office) producer’s next movie.

He just completed the role of Trinculo in The Tempest and by the looks of it seems that Russell Brand has no shortage of film projects
