George Clooney on set of The American Movie

The 49-year-old George Clooney, best known for his career-changing role as a hunky doctor in the acclaimed medical TV show, ER, was spotted at the shooting set of the upcoming action flick, The American in Sulmona, Italy on 22nd June 2010. Playing the role of Jack, a professional assassin, he seems to be still a decade or two younger, running about, showing flexibility, doing stunts etc and all in all, seems to be as fit as a fiddle.

As far as The American is concerned, the class of acting and his unique style that assists every character he plays cannot be a concern to director Anton Corbijn knowing the fact those he possesses the big title of academy award winner. The American has been Clooney’s first film project for 2010 and the Clooney fans, it is said to be screening in theaters worldwide on the 1st of September 2010.

The evergreen star who just tuned 49 is said to be currently dating a gorgeous model named Elisabetta Canalis and with his looks and unique appeal, it is not like he can’t opt for any better.
