Gemma Arterton attending The Disappearance of Alice Creed premiere
The Clash of the Titans actress Gemma Arterton was spotted in New York on 28th July 2010 during the premiere of her upcoming thriller flick The Disappearance of Alice Creed. In the The Disappearance of Alice Creed Gemma Arterton plays Alice Creed daughter of a rich businessman who is held hostage in an apartment by two young men who are looking forward to a passport to a better life via a ransom.
In the cast of the J Blakeson-directed flick is Gemma Arterton along with Martin Compston and Eddie Marsan. Well according to the Quantum of Solace star shooting The Disappearance of Alice Creed was basically a physical torture because right throughout the movie she was tied up and hence would leave bruises and cuts on her hands and along the mouth.
Gemma Arterton came among us in the BBC adaptation of Thomas Hardy’s Tess of the D’Urbervilles and followed up with many feature comedy films like St Trinian’s (2009) and its sequel St. Trinian’s II (2009)Pirate Radio (2009) etc.
Her recent successes have been in Clash of the Titans and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time both of which screened in 2010.
