Doctor Strange (2012) movie need writers
It has been announced that Marvel is moving ahead with developing a movie with less famous characters like in short films and one such movie would be the live-action Dr. Strange movie which was rumored to be in production for quite awhile now. Dr. Strange would be penned by Thomas Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer who previously wrote Conan, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and a draft of Cowboys & Aliens, and will likely be among the first Marvel comic book films generated under the Disney banner.
Though Donnelly and Oppenheimer haven’t succeeded in writing the screen plays for some movies, like Sound of Thunder and Sahara well, they have been considered after their improvement in work in the movies as mentioned above. The movie follows, Dr. Strange who initially was a neurosurgeon, but now a sorcerer who uses the art of magic to heal. With the writers for the movie, sorted, the director hasn’t been picked up yet and so is the cast. As a presumption, I think Marvel has to focus on a director who could deliver some effective visuals.
It has also been said that Marvel met up with its writers and directors a few moths back to decide on the budget for movies involving less famous characters like Dr. Strange. Obviously the budget would be a low budget one. In related news, The 1978 TV movie, Dr. Strange, was one of the first Marvel properties to hit screens in live-action, after the ’40s Captain America serial, Hulk and Spider-Man TV projects.
