Chloe Moretz to cast in The Rut movie

Upcoming young actress Chloe Moretz might star in a lead role in the drama The Rut which will be directed by Karyn Kusama who brought the horror fantasy Jennifer’s Body. The Rut is about a father and a daughter whose relationship is based on the need to teach and learn the hunting tricks which is an important part in survival. Chloe Moretz has been approached with an offer to star in the movie according to the news.

If Chloe Moretz is to star in The Rut movie she will play the role of the daughter and the details about the supporting cast of the movie are yet to be disclosed. Despite being young and new to the industry she has a number of upcoming projects among which are this year’s Let Me In and the next year release Hugo Cabret each having different kinds of roles acted by her.

The Rut is currently in the development level and apart from having a female as the protagonist which is a trademark in Karyn Kusama’s projects it is early to come up with speculations about what kind of a tone will the movie have but it is expected that this will be a different kind of a directorial and the moviegoers are free to come up with ideas about the plot until something official is disclosed.
