The Yimou Zhang directed A Woman, A Gun and a Noodle Shop follows noodle shop owner and his wife who are rather having a dull married life. Following is the wife having a secretive affair with another man but this does not remain secretive for long when her husband finds out about it through a patrol officer and hence immediately asks him to kill his wife and her lover for a sum of money.

Meanwhile the wife buys a gun and demands that her lover uses it to kill her husband. At least now we know the connection between the woman and the gun and the noodle shop as in the long yet direct title. The plans on both sides are set to perfection but it seems that the patrol officer has a murderous plan of his own. A woman, A Gun and a Noodle Shop could be witnessed on 3rd September 2010 when it hits the big screens in the U.S. theaters.
