Martin Scorsese’s live-action 3D adventure Hugo Cabret has started productions early this week in at Shepperton Studios and in locations in London and Paris. And in the main cast is Jude Law, Ray Winstone, Christopher Lee, Frances de la Tour and Richard Griffiths with Brian Selznick and John Logan are in charge of the screenplay.
Based on Brian Selznick’s acclaimed book “The Invention of Hugo Cabrett“, the movie follows an orphan boy who lives a secret life in the Paris train station. What he encounters in his life, the things the people, the living the non-living and the type of relationship he had with them is what Hugo Cabret is all about.
Apart from this wonderful storyline, the movie seems to take in two recognized names in the film industry. One would be director Martin Scorsese who has produced precious titles just for us and we also have Jude Law, the Academy/ Golden Globe nominee who is a treat to watch. British actor Jude Law made a name for himself with his performance in “The Talented Mr. Ripley” (1999) and since then has followed his award winning performances.
Hugo Cabret is planned for release in December 2011 by Sony.
