The Bachelorette Finale: DeAnna Pappas and Jesse Csincsak Engaged and Ecstatic; Jason Mesnick Heartbroken

Filed in: celebrity by admin on 07-08-08

On the season finale of The Bachelorette, DeAnna Pappas shocked America (and Jason Mesnick) by getting engaged to Jesse Csincsak.

Devastated and shell-shocked after his rejection, Jason headed home in his limo alone as DeAnna met Jesse at the final rose ceremony.

Jesse proceeded to get down on one knee to ask DeAnna if she would like to spend forever with him and our girl happily accepted.

DeAnna Pappas and Jesse Csincsak announced on the post-show special of The Bachelorette that they are engaged and will get married May 9, 2009.

We don’t think Jason Mesnick will be invited.

After the show, Jason had the chance to confront DeAnna for the first time since the fourth season of the show ended. The awesome single dad from Washington State said that he is, without a doubt, still in love with her.

DeAnna Pappas responded that she was never in love with Jason. Mesnick took the whole thing well, though, even calling Jesse “a great guy.”

The Bachelor stars Matt Grant and Shayne Lamas also made an appearance last night, updating America on their own relationship. Apparently Shayne and Matt have not broken up yet, defying the odds. Will they get married? Who knows.

Here are some pics and a video of DeAnna and Jesse. Do you think she made the right decision, or should she have picked Jason Mesnick?
