Robert Pattinson eyes Summit’s Memoirs

Summit Entertainment LOVES its stars! Robert Pattinson, who’s been wowing moviegoers with his role as sultry vampire Edward Cullen in “Twilight” (now out on DVD), is looking at another Summit movie.

“Memoirs,” based on a screenplay by Will Fetters that will be rewritten by Jenny Lumet (who wrote “Rachel Getting Married”) tells the story of two lovers whose newfound relationship is threatened as they struggle to deal with family tragedies.

Allen Coulter is considering directing the movie. He’s got the creds to do it, too; his directorial pursuits include “Hollywoodland,” HBO’s “The Sopranos,” and FX’s “Damages.”
