Sweden’s Crown Victoria of Sweden, a member of the honorary board of the International Paralympic Comittee, is in Beijing for the Paralympic Games.

She met with China’s Vice President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the games last Wednesday, September 10, 2008. The princess and Xi discussed the ongoing cooperation of China and Sweden in many fields. Princess Victoria extended her country’s congratulations for the successful hosting of both the Olympics and the Paralympics.

The princess was able to meet and cheer her countrymen who were competing in various events. She also participated in the some of the awarding ceremonies held in Beijing’s National “Birds’ Nest” Stadium.
