The Venice Film Festival rolled on over the Labor Day long weekend bringing out some of our favorite red carpet faces. Natalie Portman arrived solo showing off a new hairdo to accept a humanitarian award, premiere her directorial debut short film Eve and catch a few other red carpets. You don’t see a lot of t-shirts and jeans around the glitzy festival, but Natalie pulled it off between gorgeous gowns. The excellent Josh Jackson and Diane Kruger posed at the Jaeger Le-Coultre Gala Dinner — from the look in his eyes, Diane’s beauty wasn’t lost on Josh. Thankfully last night she was on hand to make sure Josh was looking perfectly dapper since we know he appreciates her help. She’s got even more to smile about these days, signing on to star alongside Brad Pitt and others in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Bastards. Lucky girl.
