The last time Britney Spears tried to make a major comeback on national television, she gave a lackluster performance of “Gimme More” on the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards.  But this morning, the “Toxic” songstress redeemed herself (on her 27th birthday) with a rousing rendition of her new hit “Womanizer” on “Good Morning America.”

Miss Spears wowed the crowd with a circus-inspired theme for her performance, including plenty of backup dancers and sexy moves.
