Here’s one way to honor someone after death, by placing their image on a postage stamp.

And the United States Postal Service is doing just that.

The Bob Hope stamp design will be revealed on Monday during a ceremony on New York’s Ellis Island. The same place where thousands of immigrants like Hope entered the U.S.

Although the English-born Hope was never part of the U.S. armed forces, he did dedicate a lot of his time traveling worldwide to entertain those in service during WWII and throughout Operation Desert Storm.

In fact, in 1997 Hope became the first person ever recognized by the U.S. as an honorary veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Which living person would U like to see on a stamp? Besides Madonna!
