Angelina Jolie has a boarding school?

We mean, of course she has a boarding school!

It is an all girls boarding school in Kenya.

How Oprah-esque!

And, a recent study conducted by a Wellesley psychology student found that the girls attending Jolie’s school demonstrated a greater sense of self esteem.

Utilizing art for her study, Katie Bunten-Wren test students from two different schools in a large refugee camp called Kakuma. One was a co-ed and the other was Angelina’s school. Asked to draw and describe themselves and their ideal partners, Bunten-Wren found that boys generally displayed higher self esteem.

The girls from Jolie’s school, however, rivaled the lads, voicing aspirations to go on to college and become doctors and leaders.

Bunten-Wren says she was inspired by her experienced, and now feels a calling to go help women achieve higher education.
